25 Hottest Women on Battle of the Network Stars

One of the things that made the original Battle of the Network Stars must-see TV was getting a chance to see some of the most beautiful women on television compete in atheltic competition.
Or for some perverts, a chance to catch them in swimsuits and maybe see a little bit more when they came out of the swimming pool or out of the dunk tank, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I went back and made a list of what I believe to be are the 25 hottest women to ever appear on the original BOTNS.
Well, actually its 26 since I combined two.
Here is the list, in alphabetical order:
Maud Adams
The two-time Bond Girl(The Man With the Golden Gun,Octopussy) participated in the November 1981 battle as a member of the short-lived NBC drama Chicago Story.
Catherine Bach
Daisy Duke showed up on three Battles: May 1979, May 1980, and May 1982.
Adrienne Barbeau
The daughter of Bea Arthur's title character on Maude and future Scream Queen participated in the original BOTNS in November 1976 and then returned for the November 1977 battle.
Valerie Bertinilli
One Day at A Time's Barbara Cooper competed in four BOTNS: November 1977, November 1978, May 1979, and November 1979.
Lynda Carter


TV's Wonder Woman appeared on the inaugural Battle of the Network Stars in November 1976, her only appearance.
Lydia Cornell
Playing one of Ted Knight's daughters on the sitcom Too Close For Comfort, Cornell got to  participate in the May 1982 BOTNS.
Phyllis Davis
Private investigator Dan Tanna's personal assistant, Beatrice Travis, on the ABC show Vega$ made her only appearance on Battle of the Network Stars in December 1980.
Donna Dixon
The future Mrs. Dan Aykroyd made two appearances on BOTNS for her role as Sonny Lumet in Bosom Buddies as she participated in the December 1980 and November 1981 battles.
Erin Gray
Gray showed up four times on BOTNS: the first two times for her role as Colonial Wilma Deering on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century in November 1979 and December 1980, then co-hosted the May 1981 battle with Howard Cossell, and then made a return in May 1985, representing the show Silver Spoons.
Pamela Hensley
One of Buck Rogers' enemies on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Princess Ardala appeared twice on BOTNS; first in November 1978 and then again in May 1980.
Maren Jensen
Lieutenant Athena from Battlestar Galactica made one appearance on BOTNS, coming in November 1978.
The Landers Sisters(Audrey[left] and Judy[right])

The Landers sisters made a combined three appearances on BOTNS, with Judy making the first appearance in the December 1980 battle, representing B.J. And The Bear, which was followed by older sister Audrey's appearances in May 1982 and May 1983, as a member of the cast of Dallas.
Heather Locklear
In between her roles as Officer Stacy Sheridan on T.J. Hooker and Sammy Jo on the primetime soap Dynasty, Locklear made five consecutive appearances on BOTNS(October 1982, May 1983, November 1983, May 1984, December 1984).
Judy Norton-Taylor

The actress who played Mary Ellen Walton on The Waltons participated in three editions of BOTNS as she appeared on the November 1979, December 1980 + May 1981 episodes.
Randi Oakes
Officer Bonnie Clark from CHIPS made six appearances on BOTNS, five as a competitor(November 1979, May 1980, May 1981, November 1981, and May 1983)and one as a co-host(May 1982) and holds the record for being dunked the most in the baseball throw dunk tank portion as she was dunked 16 times over her six apperances.
Plus, she met her future husband, Greg Harrison, during her BOTNS apperances.
Victoria Principal
Bobby Ewing's squeeze, Pamela Barnes, from Dallas made appearances on the May 1978 and May 1979 battles.
Emma Samms
Taking over the role of Fallon Carrington Colby which had been vacated by Pamela Sue Martin on the soap Dynasty, Samms took part in the May 1985 battle.
Tracy Scoggins
Scoggins played helicopter pilot Irene Gorley on the short-lived crime drama Hawaiian Heat, but was allowed to participate in the December 1984 battle.
Jane Seymour
The former Bond girl(Solitaire from Live and Let Die) made an appearance on the February 1977 battle, representing the NBC mini-series Seventh Avenue.
Deborah Shelton
The 1970 Miss USA winner would go to play of J.R. Ewing's mistresses, Mandy Winger, giving her a chance to participate in the December 1984 BOTNS.
Suzanne Somers
Chrissy Snow from Three's Company participated in the November 1977 battle, then returned to co-host the May 1978 battle.
Jaclyn Smith
The only one of the original Charlie's Angels trio who stayed throughout the entire show's run made her BOTNS appearance in the February 1977 battle.
Heather Thomas
The other hot Heather from the early 80s, Thomas made three appearances on BOTNS(May 1982, October 1982, November 1983) for her role as Jody Banks on the Lee Majors action show The Fall Guy.
Charlene Tilton

Little Lucy Ewing holds the record for most appearances on BOTNS, as Tilton participated in seven Battles(November 1978, May 1980, May 1981, November 1981, May 1984, December 1984, 1988).
Shawn Weatherly

The 1980 Miss USA and Miss Universe winner made her only appearance on BOTNS in May 1984, representing the short-lived Leslie Nielson sitcom Shaping Up.
